The central building, now known as the Bolton Court, was constructed in 1867 by contractors Webb and Harlow to the design of the prominent Bendigo architectural firm Vahland and Getzschmann as a bichromatic brick orderly room for the local volunteer militia. Former Catholic Church Art Gallery Cnr Spring & Lithgow Streets, BEVERIDGE VIC 3753 - Property No B3008	A church of which the nave also functioned as a school (attended by the notorious Ned Kelly),which was erected under the supervision of George & Schneider between 1857 and 1862 with the west elevation derived from a Pugin design.
